Dear rock seekers, welcome, whether you are an occasional Sunday walker or a seasoned treasure hunter!
During your walks, you may have noticed some lovely decorated rocks in different corners of the village. The “trouve mon galet” phenomenon has arrived in Maquens to bring a little cheer during this lockdown.
You can make your own rocks by decorating them with acrylic paint or Posca-type markers. Once the design is complete, remember to write the name of our group on the back, preceded by a # or the Facebook logo.
Then hide your creation in Maquens during a walk, photograph its hiding place or a clue that will help people spot it, and post the picture in the group. Another person will then be able to find your rock and hide it again.
If you are a little possessive, or even a compulsive collector, you may keep the rock you found provided you simply replace it with another. The aim remains to send our little rocks travelling everywhere, in the hope that after lockdown they will go ever farther.
