Welcome to the “TROUVE MON GALET 01” group.
⚠️ New members, here are the essential rules for the group to function properly, along with a few explanations of the game.
↪ I WANT TO DECORATE AND HIDE A ROCK
- ✅ Collect rocks and decorate them with paint, markers, varnish, etc.
- ✅ Write “TROUVE MON GALET 01” on the back, accompanied by the small Facebook symbol.
- ✅ Hide them wherever you wish.
- ✅ To announce a hiding place, create a post containing THE NAME OF THE TOWN OR VILLAGE, a few clues and a photograph of the hidden rock.
✅ For materials, use marker pens or acrylic paint pens; POSCA pens are the best. If you choose ordinary markers or water-based paint, remember to varnish your creations.
↪ HAVE YOU DISCOVERED A DECORATED ROCK?
- ✅ If you know the game and located it using clues from a group post, comment “TROUVÉ” on the post made by the person who hid it, to make tracking easier.
- ✅ If you found it by chance, photograph the rock and create a new post on our page with “TROUVÉ + THE PLACE AND TOWN where it was found”.
Then hide it yourself wherever you wish, stating the town or village of the new hiding place. Write the town’s full name without abbreviating it. The rock can then travel several kilometres and move from town to town, for example if you go on holiday.
Some rocks may be kept because their finders like them. That is also part of the game, so there is no point getting upset. If you keep a rock, try to hide another in its place so the activity can continue.
Several regions have their own group, like ours: “trouve mon galet 01”.
