About the community
Rockin’ with Happy Rocks is the Facebook page for Crete’s happy rocks.
The activity is very simple and everyone can join. Gather rocks, paint or draw on them, and Participants hide them throughout your community and neighbouring towns. We want to encourage creativity, spread happiness and genuinely make somebody smile.
When someone discovers a happy rock, choose what to do next: keep it if you like it, take a quick photograph with it, or carry it away and Participants hide it somewhere new. It is awesome for children and offers a great reason to get out and about.
the group hopes you enjoy the idea and help it spread through our towns. We would love to see both your own painted rocks and those you find, so post photographs freely or give clues to the hiding places of your creations.
