Painted Rocks Of Ventura County

About the community

The group welcomes everyone to paint and hide rocks from or around Ventura County.

1. Finders are asked to photograph painted rocks and post the images with their discovery locations.
2. Rocks may be hidden again immediately, taken away to hide later, or kept if the finder wishes.
3. Participants are encouraged to create and hide their own rocks.
4. The recommended inscription is “post photo to painted rocks of Ventura County”, so finders know where to share discoveries.
5. The group encourages enjoyable rock hunting.
