About the community
Welcome to Kindness Rocks & Art of the WORLD! This group exists to put smiles on people’s faces and spread love and joy through beautiful, encouraging painted rocks or other forms of art.
Attach a note or label explaining to the finder that the piece may be picked up and what you are doing. Use your creation to brighten a day, deliver a message someone needs, or simply share happiness. Encouraging art is the goal, and everyone is invited to participate.
If you discover an art rock, photograph it and post it here. You may either keep the rock or hide it again.
- This is not a buy, sell or trade group, and members may not be solicited. That includes requesting clues or rock locations, asking for rock donations or painting materials, and attempting to sell rocks.
- National Parks and private property are off limits unless permission has been given. Respect is part of the fun.
- Do not put rocks inside shops or in their planters. You may do so when a business grants permission, but at any business that sells merchandise, rocks must be left outside the building.
