About the community
IHORP is an international hobby group covering every aspect of rock painting: ideas and suggestions, tutorials, hide-and-seek activities, and sales of rock art. The group provide a mature, friendly setting where people from around the world can enjoy themselves and form friendships, regardless of age, sex, faith, race, ethnicity, ability, or experience. Feedback is welcome either by contacting the group or posting it on the group page.
By painting rocks and sharing happiness and joy, the group hope to inspire people and bring them together. The group hope you will join the group. English is NOT required.
You will not be admitted unless you accept the rules in the pre-joining question. To keep the group safe, friendly, and enjoyable for every member, violations are subject to zero tolerance. The group respect your privacy and ask you in return to respect the group’s efforts to maintain a safe space and exclude undesirable individuals.
IHORP — International House of Rocks & Painting — assumes no responsibility or liability for injury to any person or damage to property arising while playing hide-and-seek with rocks identified with or connected to the group. Once rocks are hidden, the group accept no responsibility for them or for anything that happens to or involves them. An artist’s images and artwork do not express IHORP’s opinions or beliefs. Unless you explicitly say otherwise, photographs of rocks or artwork that you contribute to the group may be copied and used by any member.
Rocks Behaving Badly
All artwork is accepted except pornographic imagery. Naughty rocks that are unsuitable for children belong in the “rocks behaving badly” thread, which is easy to locate through announcements.
Rock sales are permitted within IHORP, but every sale is a private agreement between buyer and seller for which IHORP bears no responsibility. If a transaction has an undesirable outcome, a party may contact the Admin team and provide evidence so that the member’s continued membership can be reviewed.
Sellers are encouraged to combine available stock into as few posts as possible to prevent spam. They must not contact members about a sale unless those members have explicitly requested contact.
