Happy Stones Zuidlaren consists of rocks hidden in Zuidlaren that bring joy to everyone.
If you find one, a message on this page would be greatly appreciated. You may keep the rock or let it continue travelling so it becomes a true wandering stone. Of course, you can join in yourself: create a beautiful rock, write Faceboook Happy Stones Zuidlaren on it, and perhaps your creation will later appear on this page.
My rocks come from the garden centre or DIY store; pebble stones are particularly suitable. You can draw with paint markers from Action, Posca pens or other waterproof markers. I also sometimes use decoupage on rocks; if you do, remember to seal them thoroughly.
I finish mine with clear varnish. If you use a spray can, keep enough distance and do not apply too much at once, or the colours may run. Do not glue eyes, beads or ribbons to the rock, as they could end up in nature, which is not the intention.
