Welcome! Happy Stones are cheerfully decorated little stones that make people happy and that were made and/or found in Bedum.
How it works: paint stones and distribute them around the village, for example by a lamppost, playground or bench. Write the Facebook page “Happy Stones Bedum” on the back. Finders can post a message or photos there, allowing us to follow what happens to the stones—which is great fun for the maker 😊
Anyone who finds a Happy Stone is invited to put it in another location so it can “travel”. Of course, Participants may also keep it yourself.
Would you like to help decorate the streets with these cheerful little stones? GREAT!! As a tip, use water-based acrylic paint or acrylic pens, then coat the stones with varnish to protect them.
